Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Physical Education Teacher – High School (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 346/2014. Vacancies: District wise (Thrissur - 1, and anticipated vacancies in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasargod). Scale of Pay: 13,210-22,360/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 17-09-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
Technical Qualifications:
• A pass in the Certificate of Physical Education issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala/Karnataka or Tamilnadu
• A pass in the Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in Physical Education conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Educations, Kerala or its equivalent
• Any degree in Physical Education (Regular Course) such as B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed etc. conferred or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala
• For Ex-Servicemen: Physical Training Course of the Armed Forces (The Assistant Instructors Basic Course in Physical Education), OR The Army Physical Training Corps Instructors Course, OR Naval Physical Training Corps Instructors Course, OR Air Force Ground Training Instructors Course (provided they possess SSLC or equivalent)

General conditions from the notification⌄
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised in one district are not eligible for transfer for 5 years. Ranked list remains in force for a minimum of one year and maximum of three years. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any district are prohibited from applying.
