Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher - Arabic (LPS) in Education. Category No: 500/2021 - 502/2021. Vacancies: District-wise (Thiruvananthapuram - 1, Kollam - 1, Thrissur - 1 for respective communities under NCA). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (NCA - Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar, OBC communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-12-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) with usual age relaxations (Part II KS&SSR Rule 2(i)). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Optional) of the University of Calicut. • Or Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. • Or SSLC Examination of the Government of Kerala with First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic. • Or SSLC Examination or its equivalent, and additionally any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Entrance Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree awarded or recognized by Universities in Kerala (G.O.(Ms) No.8/19/GEDN dated 14.01.2019). Technical Qualifications: • Pass in Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced during verification.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Individual rank lists will be prepared for each community in each district. The duration of the NCA rank list will be until candidates are advised and appointed against the earmarked vacancies, or till the expiration of three years from the date of publication of the rank list, whichever is earlier. Regular general conditions of Kerala PSC are applicable.
