Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Urdu) in Education. Category No: 607/2019 - 609/2019. Vacancies: District wise (Scheduled Caste: Kozhikode - 2, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian: Wayanad - 1, O.B.C: Wayanad - 1). Scale of Pay: Rs 19000-43600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian & O.B.C Communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste candidates. 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian & O.B.C candidates (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. • OR A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for this post. Applications of candidates who have claimed qualifications equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Govt. orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Part II KS&SSR applies.
