Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Teacher (Urdu) in General Education. Category No: 533/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram - 01 (One)). Scale of Pay: ₹ 26,500 - 60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe Community only. In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community will be considered).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 - 45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Candidates possessing post-graduate degree in Urdu are also eligible to apply for the post provided they have the required training qualification ie B.Ed/B.T/L.T. • The Candidates who have acquired BA Urdu & Islamic History double main degree conducted by University of Kannur are also eligible to apply this post. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET, Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) will be applicable for this post. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified shall also be sufficient.
