Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Male Warder in Jails. Category No: 206/2016. Vacancies: 2 (Unit wise: Thrissur, which includes Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur Districts). Scale of Pay: Rs.10,480– 18,300/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Viswakarma community). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-08-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Candidates born between 02-01-1977 and 01-01-1998 (both dates included). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Must have at least 165 cm height, 81.3 cm chest on full exhalation with at least 5 cm expansion. Must qualify in Physical Efficiency Test (100m run in 14s, High Jump 132.2cm or Long Jump 457.2cm, Rope Climbing 365.8cm). Must possess specific visual standards (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes) without glasses and be free from physical defects. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of KS & SSR is applicable.

Selection is on unit basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one unit are prohibited from applying again. Candidates must produce a medical certificate in the prescribed form at the time of Physical Efficiency Test.
