Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of LP School Assistant (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 302/2017, 303/2017, 304/2017. Vacancies: District wise: Kannur (Scheduled Tribe - 3), Kollam (Scheduled Tribe - 35, Scheduled Caste - 30, Hindu Nadar - 2). Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Hindu Nadar community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-09-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of KS&SSR will be applicable. B.Ed will not be accepted in lieu of TTC. Candidates who have not studied the Regional language 'Malayalam' either under Part I or Part II or as Medium of Instruction of SSLC will not be eligible. Exemption from K-TET is provided for candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No application fee is required.
