Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent • OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination • OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examination recognized by Government as equivalent thereto Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (D.Ed/D.El.Ed also considered) • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: 5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial in the General Education Department as on the date of application Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Candidates who have not studied the Regional Language Malayalam either under Part-I or Part-II or as medium of instruction of SSLC will not be eligible for appointment. B.Ed will not be accepted in lieu of TTC qualification. KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable.
