Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L P School Teacher (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 313/2020-318/2020. Vacancies: District wise (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, S.I.U.C Nadar, Dheevara & Hindu Nadar communities). Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, S.I.U.C Nadar, Dheevara & Hindu Nadar communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. 18-45 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates (born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (D.Ed/D.El.Ed also considered). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. B.Ed will not be accepted in lieu of TTC. Candidates who have not studied Malayalam as a subject or medium of instruction in SSLC must meet specific criteria regarding Degree/PG/Teachers Training in Malayalam.
