Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L P School Teacher (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 239/2025 – 241/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Cat. 239/2025 Scheduled Caste: 12, Cat. 240/2025 Scheduled Tribe: 21, Cat. 241/2025 Dheevara: 2). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Dheevara communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-09-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe: 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. Dheevara: 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (D.Ed / D.El.Ed also considered). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category I) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.
