Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L P School Teacher (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 663/2024. Vacancies: District wise: Kottayam - 01 (One), Ernakulam - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Hindu Nadar community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (D.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification shall also be considered). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category I) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. B.Ed certificate will not be considered in lieu of TTC. Candidates who have not studied Malayalam as a subject or medium of instruction in SSLC are ineligible, subject to specific exemptions.
