Age limit

20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 years as on 01.01.2021 allowed for qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed degree in the concerned faculty. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed as specified above, B.Ed in any subject or M.Sc Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any Regional Institute of Education (NCERT). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce equivalency certificate/relevant Government Order at the time of certificate verification. M.Ed in the concerned subject is exempted from B.Ed qualification.

Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Applications are provisional. Original documents must be produced when called for. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam if a test is conducted.
