Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of candidates with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of candidates with B.Ed Degree as specified above, B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the State Government. Technical Qualifications: • M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any Regional Institute of Education sponsored by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an alternative qualification. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government Order proving equivalency at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be members of the Scheduled Tribe community. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous service period of 3 years. Candidates must provide confirmation for exams via their profile. Rules of Procedure Rule 22 applies for false claims.
