Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher Geology in Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 589/2015. Vacancies: LC-1 (One). Scale of Pay: 11,070 – 18,450/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment only from candidates belonging to reservation group mentioned in this notification (LC community).. Age limit

20-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included). Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 years as on 01.01.2015 allowed for qualified ministerial staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed degree in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed as specified above, B.Ed degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not specifically required, but preference given to those with Ph.D/M.Phil or qualified at JRF/NET. Teachers appointed without B.Ed must acquire it within five years. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Persons with M.Ed in the subject concerned are exempted from B.Ed qualification.
