Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher Geography in Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 583/2015 & 584/2015. Vacancies: Dheevara – 1 (One) Cat No. 583/2015, Hindu Nadar - 1 (One) Cat No. 584/2015. Scale of Pay: 19,240/- – 34,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment only from candidates belonging to Dheevara and Hindu Nadar communities.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala, or B.Ed degree acquired in the concerned faculty, or B.Ed degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study in the absence of persons with specific B.Ed. • MSc.Ed. In the concerned subject with not less than 50% of marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education sponsored by NCERT. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS &SSR is applicable.
