Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemptions apply for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed holders and certain employees of the General Education Department) Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 'Siksha Sastri' Examination of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and Kameswar Singh Darbhanga University of Bihar are equivalent to B.Ed. Post Graduates in Sanskrit are eligible if they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T.
General conditions from the notification
Applicant must be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Reservation rules (Article 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
