Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Sanskrit) in Education. Category No: 373/2019 - 374/2019. Vacancies: District wise (Scheduled Caste - Kasaragod: 1, Muslim - Kasaragod: 1). Scale of Pay: Rs. 29200-62400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Muslim Communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) in the case of Scheduled Caste candidates. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. A title of Oriental Learning in the concerned language awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala shall also be accepted in lieu of degree, if these titles have been declared as equivalent to Part III of the degree. • Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided that they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T. • B.Ed should be in the concerned Language. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: 'Siksha Sastri' Examination of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and `Siksha Sastri Examination of the Kameswar Singh Darbhanga University of Bihar will be treated as equivalent to B.Ed Degree Examination of the Universities in Kerala for the purpose of appointment as High School Assistant (Sanskrit). Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. The selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates advised for appointment are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years continuous service. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
