Scale of Pay: 29200-62400/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer (from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-09-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject, both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• Post Graduates in the concerned subject with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible to apply.
• Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree.
• Degree in Geology (Main) with Physics and Chemistry as subsidiary subjects with B.Ed. Degree (Physical Science) can also be considered as an alternative qualification.
• B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemption given for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed). General Education Department employees working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant can apply without K-TET subject to acquiring it within 31.03.2018.
Experience Required:
Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.
