Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Physical Science) - Kannada Medium in Education. Category No: 321/2015 & 322/2015. Vacancies: District wise: OX – Kasaragod - 1 (Category No.321/2015), Dheevara – Kasaragod - 1 (Category No.322/2015). Scale of Pay: 15,380-25,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to OX/Dheevara communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-11-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1) 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1997 (Both dates included) are eligible. 2) 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1997 (Both dates included) are eligible for NCA OX in the case of adult members belonging to any of the Scheduled Caste who are converted to Christianity and children of such parents. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in concerned subject are also eligible to apply for the post, if they possess B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree. Technical Qualifications: • The applicant should have taken physics/Chemistry as main subject for graduation. • Degree in Geology (Main) with Physics and Chemistry as subsidiary subjects and B.Ed. Degree (Physical Science) can also be considered as an alternative qualification. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Those candidates who secured B.Ed/B.T Degrees from the Universities outside Kerala shall produce relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. If a written test is conducted, the question paper will be in Kannada and candidates must answer in Kannada. Knowledge in Kannada will be tested at the time of interview.
