Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department.. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Kannada as I or II Language OR A pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Kannada Language. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemptions apply for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed holders and certain General Education Department employees). Experience Required: Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education is treated as equivalent to Degree. B.Sc Ed in Chemistry – Botany – Zoology stream from Regional Institute of Education Mysore of NCERT is eligible. B.Ed in Life Science (regular course) is accepted as sufficient training qualification.

General conditions from the notification
The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Reservation rules (Article 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates must submit confirmation for written/OMR/Online tests if conducted.
