Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Mathematics) (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 618/2017. Vacancies: District wise - Scheduled Tribe – Palakkad – 3 (Three). Scale of Pay: 29200-62400/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging Scheduled Tribe community only). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered for this post. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. • B.Sc Ed in Physics – Chemistry – Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education Mysore of NCERT Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for the post.

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post.
