Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer (from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Peon in General Education Department). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or (Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of part III) and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Govt. Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed/BT/LT should be in the concerned Language. Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Peon in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application. The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
The selection is made on a revenue district basis. Rules regarding reservation of appointment (Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates must produce a Service Certificate in the prescribed form when called for.
