Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Head of Section (Computer Engineering) in Technical Education (Polytechnics). Category No: 254/2016. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: 12930-20250 (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste Community). In the absence of qualified candidates from among Scheduled Castes, those belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be considered.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-10-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or any other qualification recognised by Government as equivalent thereto with not less than 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Experience Required: 8 years experience in Engineering profession of which atleast 3 years should be teaching experience in the subject as Lecturer not below Diploma Level in recognised/approved Institution. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Diploma in Computer Engineering/Technology obtained after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than 3 years with 60% marks in the qualifying examinations and a pass in section A and B of AMIE will be considered as equivalent to Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology. In the case of First or Second Class Post Graduate Degree holders in Computer Engineering/Technology, the prescribed 60% marks in the concerned branch for the basic degree will not be insisted upon.
