Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Food Safety Officer in Food Safety. Category No: 499/2019. Vacancies: Anticipatory Vacancies. Scale of Pay: Rs.27800 – 59400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36, Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxations to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology • Masters Degree in Chemistry • Degree in Medicine from a University recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala, or its equivalent qualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. The selected candidates will have to undergo training successfully as specified by the Food Authority in a recognised Institute or Institution approved for the purpose during the period of probation.
