Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Food Safety Officer in Food Safety. Category No: 006/2024. Vacancies: Anticipatory Vacancies. Scale of Pay: ₹ 39300-83000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-04-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology from a University recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala, or its equivalent qualifications. • Masters Degree in Chemistry from a University recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala, or its equivalent qualifications. • Degree in Medicine from a University recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala, or its equivalent qualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable
General conditions from the notification
The Ranked list published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and max 3 years. 3% of vacancies reserved for differently abled candidates. Probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
