Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Firewoman (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services. Category No: 245/2020. Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination
Technical Qualifications:
• Diploma in Computer Application (Desirable)
Experience Required:
None
Physical Standards:
Height: Minimum 152 cm (150 cm for SC/ST candidates). Must have proficiency in swimming. Vision: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Must be free from colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eye. Must pass a physical efficiency test (at least 5 out of 8 items) and produce a medical certificate from a Civil Surgeon.

KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

General conditions from the notification⌄
Candidates must serve for at least 7 years after training, failing which a bond of Rs 50,000 must be paid. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must provide confirmation for exams via OTR profile.
