Vacancies: District wise (Community wise): Palakkad – LC/AI – 01 (One) [Cat No: 152/2016], Kannur - Viswakarma – 1 (One) [Cat No: 153/2016]. Scale of Pay: 9,190 – 15,780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the above reservation communities only).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-07-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21- 42. Only candidates born between 2.1.1974 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII (New) or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Must posses current valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving Heavy Goods/Passenger Vehicles and Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Heavy goods/passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a practical test including H test and Road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed 'H' test are eligible for Road Test. Physical Standards: Must not be less than 165 cm in height and 83 cm round the chest with a minimum expansion of 4 cm. Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
