Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Kerala Municipal Common Services. Category No: 265/2016. Vacancies: LC/AI - 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: Rs.5250-8390 (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (LC/AI Community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-10-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a Motor Driving Licence of atleast three years standing with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicles. • Candidate shall possess a current driving Licence and badge throughout all the stages of selection process as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Interview etc. • Proficiency in Driving Heavy Duty vehicles (to be proved in a practical test) Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear: Hearing should be full and perfect. Eye: Right Eye (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen), Left Eye (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen), Colour Vision: Normal, Night Blindness: Nil, Field of Vision: Must have full field of vision. Muscles & Joints: No Paralysis and all joints with free movements. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.
General conditions from the notification
Sub paras v, vii, viii, ix, x, xi and xiii in para 2 and paras 5, 5a, 6 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post. The selection to the above concern will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time.
