Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must posses valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Good/Passenger Motor Vehicle with Driver's badge. • Proficiency in Driving-Medium/Heavy Good/Passenger motor vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by KPSC during the course of selection (including 'H' Test). Experience Required: 3 years standing in valid Driving Licence to drive Medium/Heavy Good/Passenger Motor Vehicle. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil, Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement, Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted via conventional type will be summarily rejected. Candidates must produce medical certificates regarding physical fitness and vision as prescribed. Rules regarding reservation of appointment under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II KS&SSR 1958 are not applicable to appointment by transfer.
