Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Various. Category No: 218/2015. Vacancies: District wise (Alappuzha, Kozhikode, Kannur - Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: 9,190 – 15,780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-09-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Candidates should have been born between 2.1.1976 and 1.1.1997 (both dates included). Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual relaxation (maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Good/Passenger Motor Vehicle with Driver's badge. • Proficiency in Driving-Medium/Heavy Good/Passenger motor vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test including (H-test) conducted by KPSC during the course of selection. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Ear: Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. (c) Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement. (d) Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii applicable.

Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates should possess a current valid Driving Licence and badge throughout all stages of selection process. Separate Ranked list will be prepared for each district.
