Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr II (HDV) in Various (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police and Transport). Category No: 188/2015. Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram - Viswakarma – 1). Scale of Pay: 9,190 – 15,780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Viswakarma community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-07-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-42. Only candidates born between 2.1.1973 and 1.1.1997 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post, including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/ III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Vehicles with Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy goods/passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a practical test including H test and road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed 'H' test are eligible for Road Test. Experience Required: 3 years standing with endorsement for driving medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Vehicles with Badge Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Right Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen), Left Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
