Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Excise Officer (Trainee) (Male) in Excise. Category No: 538/2019. Vacancies: District wise (Anticipated vacancies across all 14 districts). Scale of Pay: Rs. 20,000 – 45,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-31. Candidates born between 02/01/1988 and 1.1.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two examination or its equivalent. Physical Standards: Height: Must not be less than 165 cms (160 cms for SC/ST candidates). Chest: 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms (76 cms with 5 cms expansion for SC/ST). Must possess specified visual standards without glasses (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes, full field of vision, no colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions). Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in Endurance Test (2.5 kilometers race within 13 minutes) and any five events out of eight events specified in the National Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard Test). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who have applied with equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification, should produce the relevant Government order to prove their qualifications equivalency at the time verification.
