Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Caretaker (Female) in Social Justice. Category No: 615/2017. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe-1. Scale of Pay: 10480-18300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-01-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-41 [Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General conditions.] Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • PDC or + 2 or equivalent • Pass in Pre-degree Examination of any recognised University (in the absence of candidates with the above qualification) Experience Required: One year experience as a care giver in any of the Child Care Institutions recognised by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board under Social Welfare Department. (In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, experience for a period of One year as Caretaker in any approved Juvenile Institution in Government or approved Children's Home like Orphanages etc. approved by the Control Board/Director of Social Welfare Department/Government will be considered) Physical Standards: Should possess good physique. Only female candidates are eligible for direct recruitment to the post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable.

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Tribe Community will be rejected. Care Taker (Female) appointed shall undergo an inservice Training for a period of 3 months. For other conditions, please see Part II of the General Conditions.
