Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Blood Bank Technician in Health Services. Category No: 774/2021. Vacancies: Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava – 1 (One). Scale of Pay: 35,600-75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community only). Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree / Plus Two course with Science subject with not less than 50% marks. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the two years Diploma Course in Blood Bank Technology conducted by the Sree Chitra Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology / Medical Colleges / Health Services Department. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified (Note: Differently abled candidates with Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment are identified as suitable; Blindness/Low vision are not eligible) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must follow Part II of KS&SSR. Probation period is two years of duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for exam if conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 for bogus claims.
