Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest. Category No: 124/2020. Vacancies: District wise - Pathanamthitta: 1 (One) (SCCC). Scale of Pay: ₹ 20,000 – 45,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to SCCC community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-10-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1) 19-33. Candidates born between 2.1.1987 and 1.1.2001 are eligible to apply for this post (Both dates included). 2) 19-35. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converted Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents ie. Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2001 are eligible to apply for this post (Both dates included). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Physical Standards: Male: Height-Minimum 168 cms, Chest-Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion. Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 8 events of National Physical Efficiency one star standard test) and Endurance Test (2 km run in 13 minutes). Female: Height-Minimum 157 cms. Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 9 events of National Physical Efficiency one star standard test) and Endurance Test (2 km run in 15 minutes). Medical standards apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who have applied with equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification, should produce the relevant Government order to prove their qualifications equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools. Probation for direct recruitment is 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years. NCC 'A', 'B', 'C' certificates carry weightage marks of 2%, 3%, and 5% respectively.
