Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest. Category No: 02/2016 to 04/2016. Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancy (District-wise). Scale of Pay: Rs.10480-18300/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer (District-wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 09-03-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

No person shall be eligible for appointment By Transfer to the post of Beat Forest Officer, if he/she has completed 40 years of age on the first January of the year in which applications for the appointment (ie. 01.01.2016) are invited with usual relaxation of age limit for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities as provided in the rule 10(c), of Part II of KS&SSR, 1958. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognised by Government of India or Government of Kerala. • Basic academic qualification shall be SSLC or equivalent examination in the case of applicants who were in service before 30.08.2010 Physical Standards: Male Standards: Height-Minimum 168 cms (160 cms for SC/ST), Chest-Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (5 cms expansion applicable to SC/ST). Endurance Test: 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes. Physical Efficiency Test: Qualify in any 5 out of 8 events of National Physical Efficiency one star standard test. Female Standards: Height-Minimum 157 cms (150 cms for SC/ST Female). Endurance Test: 2 Kilometres in 15 minutes. Physical Efficiency Test: Qualify in any 5 out of 9 events of National Physical Efficiency one star standard test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of KS & SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Part II KS&SSR applies where relevant. Selection will be made on district-wise basis. Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one District.
