Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases in Medical Education Service. Category No: 342/2021. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: As per UGC Norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-10-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Medical Post Graduate Degree such as MD/MS from a recognised University in the concerned discipline / DNB in the concerned discipline. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Post Graduate study period for Medical subjects will be considered as teaching experience if the candidate has undergone a Residency Programme or produces a certificate from the Principal of the College regarding teaching/clinical work experience during the PG course. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must serve for four years during the first ten years of service (including training) in defence service or services connected with defence if required. Differently abled candidates and those over 45 years are exempted. Provisional registration with any Medical Council is not accepted. Candidates must submit confirmation for exams if conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 for bogus claims.
