Category No: 495/2019. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: Rs. 30700 – 65400. Method of Appointment: By Direct Recruitment from qualified Ministerial Staff working in the Jails department who are approved probationers in any post in the department.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree of a recognized University. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and should possess minimum physical standards: at least 165 cms height and 81.3 cms round the chest on full expiration and a chest expansion of 5 cm (Height of 160 cms sufficient for SC and ST candidates). Women and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible. Standards of Vision without glasses: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left). Full field of vision, free from colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions, and free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II applicable.

By Direct Recruitment from qualified Ministerial Staff working in the Jails department who are approved probationers in any post in the department.
General conditions from the notification
The principles of rules of reservation and rotation prescribed in rule 14 to 17 of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate service rules 1957 will not apply for this post. Candidates will be advised against reported vacancies in rank order. Disciplinary action as per Rules of procedure Rule 22 for bogus claims.
