Age limit

Category – i (Open Market) – 20-31: Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included). Category – ii (Constabulary) – 20-36: Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and possess minimum physical standards: Height - 167 cm (160 cm for SC/ST), Chest - 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm (76 cm with expansion for SC/ST). Visual standards without glasses: Distant Vision - 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near Vision - 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Must qualify at least five out of eight events of one star standard in physical efficiency test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. For SC/ST candidates under category (i), Pre-University/Pre-Degree or equivalent examinations considered if fully qualified candidates are not available.

Persons recruited direct shall undergo training for one year and probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Women and Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible.
