Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD/DNB in Community Medicine • MD in Community Health Administration Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) / Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: One Year Experience as Senior Resident in Community Medicine/Community Health Administration in a Recognized Medical College after obtaining Post Graduate Degree. (Various equivalency conditions for experience are provided in the notification, including Tutor/Demonstrator experience, Armed Forces Specialist Medical Officer experience, Non-teaching Consultant/Specialist/Medical Officer experience, and Diploma holder experience). Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Qualifications are as per NMC Regulations 2025, Medical Institutions (Qualifications of faculty) Regulations, 2025 dated 30-06-2025.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must adhere to Part II of the General Conditions. Those appointed must serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) in Defense Services if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from compulsory Military Service.
