Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Community Medicine in Medical Education. Category No: 350/2023. Vacancies: 06 (Six). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-11-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

22-45. Only candidates born between 02/01/1978 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual age relaxation is applicable to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD / DNB in Community Medicine • OR • MD / DNB in Health Administration Technical Qualifications: • One year Senior Resident experience in Community Medicine / Community Health Administration in an NMC recognized Medical College after Post Graduate Degree. Experience Required: One year Senior Resident experience in Community Medicine / Community Health Administration after Post Graduate Degree. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to a prescribed qualification and such those upper qualifications produced as basic qualifications shall be accepted. The equivalency/upper qualification related Government Orders shall be produced by the commission at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Applicants should read the General Conditions (Part II KS&SSR) published in the Gazette. Compulsory military service: Persons appointed to the post shall, within the first ten years (including period of training) of their service, serve for a period of four years in the Armed Forces or in the combatant roles in the forces relating to Defence, whether within or outside India. Not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and to those belonging to Differently Abled category.
