Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Physics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 741/2021. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies. Scale of Pay: 45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-02-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-40. Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified in items (1) and (2) above, persons with B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR M.Sc. Ed. in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not specifically required, but 10 years of approved teaching experience at the High School level in the General Education Department exempts candidates from the SET requirement. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the relevant Government Order/Document at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates. Candidates must provide confirmation for the exam through their profile. Aadhaar card should be provided as ID proof in the profile.
