Age limit

20-40. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of candidates with B.Ed degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed degree in any subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Alternatively, M.Sc. Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any Regional Institute of Education sponsored by the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant Government Order/document at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
The rank list published shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, or until a new rank list is published, whichever is earlier. Candidates must provide confirmation for the examination through their profile. Rules regarding probation, reservation, and KS&SSR Part II apply.
