Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Economics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 731/2021. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies. Scale of Pay: 45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-02-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-40. Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. For ministerial staff of the Higher Secondary Education Department, the upper age limit is 43 years as per GO(P) No. 36/2005/Gl.Edn. dated 04.02.2005. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified in items 1 and 2 above, B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the relevant Government Order at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam through their One Time Registration profile. 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates (Blindness/Low Vision, Hearing Impairment, Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy).
