Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) (Ex-Servicemen only) in NCC / Sainik Welfare Department. Category No: 708/2021. Vacancies: District-wise (Thiruvananthapuram - Ezhava - 01 (One)). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from Ex-Servicemen belonging to the reserved community viz. Ezhava only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-02-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Ability to read and write Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil) and Motor Cycles, and 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles. • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles. • Proficiency in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles shall be proved by a practical test including 'T' Test conducted by PSC. Experience Required: 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil). Physical Standards: Must be free from apparant physical defects like malformation of limbs, stammer, speech defect etc. Hearing: Perfect hearing. Eyesight: Distant Vision - Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen; Near Vision - Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen; Colour Vision - Normal; Night Blindness - Nil. Muscles and joints - Free from paralysis and all joints with free movements. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.
