Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Armed Police Sub Inspector (Trainee) in Police (Armed Police Battalion). Category No: 672/2022 & 673/2022. Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancies. Scale of Pay: ₹ 45600 – 95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Category I: Open Market, Category II: Constabulary). Age limit

Category - I (Open Market): 20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible with usual relaxation to SC, ST, and Other Backward Communities. Category - II (Constabulary): 20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must be a Graduate. • In the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University/Pre-Degree or equivalent Examination of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I). Physical Standards: Height: 167 cm (Taller persons will be given preference; 160 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest Measurement: 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm (76 cm with 5 cm expansion for SC/ST candidates). Visual Standards without glasses: Distant vision 6/6 snellen (Left & Right Eye), Near vision 0.5 snellen (Left & Right Eye), each eye must have full field of vision. Free from color blindness, squint, or morbid conditions and apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Candidates must also qualify in at least five out of eight items of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standards Tests. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent shall also be sufficient.
