Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • a) Doctorate in Economics or Econometrics with a basic Degree/Diploma/Training in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics from a recognized University or Institution. • b) A First Class or High Second Class Masters Degree in Econometrics/Statistics with specialization in Econometrics and Economic forecasting from a recognized University or Institution. • c) A First Class or High Second Class Masters Degree in Economics/Mathematics with Diploma or Training in Statistics with specialization in Econometrics and Economic forecasting from a recognized University or Institution. Experience Required: For (a): Four years experience in Economic Planning and Models and in the application of Econometric methods in macro and micro level planning. For (b) & (c): Seven years experience in Economic Planning and Models and in the application of Econometric Methods in Macro and Micro Planning. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. Government Orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications should be produced when called for by the Commission.
