Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Second Grade Overseer/Second Grade Draftsman in Local Self Government Department. Category No: 649/2013. Vacancies: 10 (Ten). Scale of Pay: Rs.6680-10790/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among physically handicapped candidates belonging to Orthopaedic & deaf). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

i) For Orthopaedically handicapped candidates: 18-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. ii) For Deaf candidates: 18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1963 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Kerala Government Certificate Examination (2 years course) in Civil Engineering • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the Trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) in Womens Polytechnics Physical Standards: Selection to the above mentioned vacancies will be made from among the (orthopaedic & deaf) PH categories found suitable for the post as per existing Govt.Orders.
