Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Second Grade Overseer/Second Grade Draftsman in Local Self Government Department. Category No: 427/2014. Vacancies: 9 (Nine). Scale of Pay: Rs. 11,620 – 20,240/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 17-12-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.78 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Kerala Government certificate examination (2 year course) in Civil Engineering. • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course followed by 6 months practical training at Industrial Training Institutes/centres, conducted by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour. • Diploma (2 years course) in Civil Engineering in Women Polytechnics.
General conditions from the notification
Sub Paras v, viii, ix, x, xi and xiii in para 2 and paras 6 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post. The selection to the above concern will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time.
