Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) / Driver-cum-Office Attendant (HDV) (Ex-servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare. Category No: 620/2024. Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram - 01 (one), Wayanad - 01 (one). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 – 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belong to Ex-servicemen only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving License with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle and must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. • Driving License issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles. • Proficiency in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles will have to be proved through a practical test including 'T' Test and Road Test conducted by P.S.C. Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision 0.5 snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
