Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree or Post Graduate Degree in English language and literature. • B.Ed/BT/LT with English as optional subject conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Peon in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Those candidates who secured B.Ed/B.T Degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application form, the number and date of relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent to those prescribed for this selection.
General conditions from the notification
The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service as on the date of application. Rules regarding reservation of appointment in Article 14 to 17 in Part II of KS&SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
